Jay Nguyen LAc.
Jay graduated from UCSD doubling major in Pharmacological Chemistry and Management Science (Finance). He wanted to be a pharmacist after getting his bachelor degrees. When it was time to take care of his health, a real question came up of how to live a happy, healthy life. Pills and surgeries seemed not to be the answer. Seeing that Chinese medicine is one of the modalities that promote healthy life. He went to study Chinese medicine at Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley. Influenced by the Japanese style acupuncture, his needle insertions usually are very shallow which causes LESS pain. (Not no pain)
Jay’s areas of interests are pain management, psychosomatics, and geriatrics. In his free time, he enjoys driving into quiet, rural areas.
